Ride-along loop from 10:30, every 20 minutes
Hall D · 30,000 sq ft
A 640-mile electric sedan, a road that charges what drives on it and a windshield that draws the route in front of you. Hall D covers the car, the road and the charger.
What to expect
The vehicles here are prototypes, but the charging, glass and drive systems are the parts that will reach production first. An indoor loop lets visitors ride along.
Batteries and swap stations that make a charge stop as short as a coffee stop.
Windshields that put lane, hazard and turn information where you are already looking.
Pavement that sends power to vehicles as they drive over it.

Ride-along loop from 10:30, every 20 minutes
A motor that sits inside the wheel and replaces the driveshaft, differential and half the floor structure. Each wheel is controlled on its own, so the car can turn on the spot.
Dyno run daily at 11:30 and 15:00
A windshield that overlays lane guidance, hazards and turn arrows directly on the road ahead. It dims on its own to cut glare from low sun.
Simulator seat open all day
A road surface with embedded coils that charge a passing vehicle without a plug. The demo loop lets visitors feel the battery level rise as they ride.
Ride the loop at 10:30, 13:30 and 15:00
A drive-through station that swaps a depleted pack for a full one while the driver stays in the car. It works with up to five vehicle models.
